Hey there, everybody!
If you follow me on Facebook, you likely already know that I will be attending the Tampa Indie Author Book Convention in July 2017. Actually, my blog followers probably know this, too, as I try to reblog any big updates on here.
ANYWHO, I am super stoked as this will be my first book convention, and my close friends Ginni and Kyle are organizing the thing. I’m also dipping my toes in and doing what I can to help with ideas and organizing. It’s really going to be such a unique and fun event!
As we all know, you can dress up an event as splendidly as you want, but that doesn’t do any good if people aren’t there to enjoy it! We have some amazing attendees already, but we want to pack the house!
Problem is, when you’re throwing a first year event, getting the word out can be tricky. (Cue flashbacks to when I published my first book and nobody knew who the heck I was… EEK what a grind!)
That brings me to this favor. We’ve got a massive ThunderClap campaign running to help spread the word to as many people as possible. We were able to secure 250 supporters for our Teabreeze release in about a week, so hopefully 500 in a month is a doable goal. If you could lend your social media voice to the campaign, that would be amazing!
That’s it! That’s the favor. See, not so bad. It costs nothing and has to be worth like 20 good karma points, I’m guessing.
